Select a material to get a practical starting range for nozzle temperature, bed temperature, drying and fan settings. Start near the middle of the range, print a small calibration model, then adjust for the exact brand, color and part geometry.

  2. Dry moisture-sensitive filament before changing slicer settings.

Where these settings come from

The database combines current manufacturer guidance with recurring community reports. Values are starting points rather than guarantees: thermistor variation, build plate, chamber temperature, print speed and filament formulation can all change the best setting.

Should I copy these values directly into Bambu Studio?

Use them as a starting profile, then run temperature and flow calibration for the exact spool. Manufacturer presets remain the safest first choice when available.

Why does the same material need different temperatures?

Different polymers, pigments and additives change melt flow. High-speed profiles may also need more heat than slower prints.

Do wet filaments need a higher nozzle temperature?

No. Raising temperature does not fix absorbed moisture and can increase stringing. Dry the spool first, then tune temperature.
